SLS Cheer and Dance Terms and Conditions
Our priority at SLS is to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience. We have Terms and Conditions in place that we encourage you to read thoroughly. The following information Is in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of athletes and to allow us to maintain a high standard of training in a positive environment. SLS athletes and parents should comply with the rules that have been put in place. We will regularly review our policies and notify parents when there are any changes.
Payment & Fees
-Our fees are paid monthly via subscription on coacha which is our registration system, where your fee subscription set up link will be emailed out to you at the beginning of the season.

-Fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.

-Payments are taken on the 1st of every month. Failure to pay can result in losing your class spot however if you are having difficulty paying, please contact us and we will do our best to assist where possible.

-Payments are the same every month and fees are non-returnable once paid.
Class Clothing
SLS training kit is available to purchase. Participants should wear appropriate clothing to class that they are able to fully move around in.
-NO JEWELLERY to be worn for safety reasons (SLS will not be held liable for any lost items as jewellery is not permitted)
-Hair MUST be always tied up for safety reasons.
-Appropriate shoes should be worn for each class.
Safety
We do our best to ensure a high standard of safety while teaching at SLS however like any sport there are risks involved whilst participating in cheer and dance. In the event of any illness or injury SLS will not be held liable. We will seek medical treatment when required. Medical conditions must be declared when you register and must update us if there are any changes.
Behaviour
Poor behaviour is unacceptable. We do not allow disruptive behaviour towards coaches or other athletes. This includes inside class, outside class and online.
SLS Cheer and Dance Participation Waiver
I agree to abide by and understand the following team rules …
-Give permission and understand that classes/events/displays/competitions that SLS participate in can and will be filmed & photographed for the purpose of training, promotional material for team advertising.

-Any injuries sustained through participating in stunts or any other activity of SLS are the responsibility of the participant and they take part at their own risk.
-I as a parent/athlete, agree to always respect the SLS team and coaches.
-I will give 100% to this team as an athlete/supporter.
-I as a parent/athlete agree to the information given in the season info pack.
-Competitive athletes must compete in all competitions and therefore should not book any holidays around times of competitions.
Liability Release
I (parent/guardian if participant is under 18 years of age) hereby grant permission for myself/my child to participate in training activities as a member of SLS Cheer and Dance. I hereby release and hold harmless SLS Cheer and Dance or any of the instructors/coaches from all liability, arising out of or connected with SLS Cheer and Dance, coaches or members, including any claim arising from an injury or illness that I/my child might have sustained whilst attending SLS Cheer and Dance or activities associated with it.
Medical Release
I, on my own/my child’s behalf understand and agree that such participation in classes subject myself/my child to possibility of injury or physical illness. I also hereby understand the risks involved with taking part in cheerleading/dance/ gymnastics. In the event of such physical illness or injury, I authorise SLS Cheer and Dance and their associated coaches to obtain necessary medical treatment for myself/my child and release and hold harmless SLS Cheer and Dance in the exercise of this authority. I also confirm that I/my child has not been advised by a doctor to avoid physical exercise and do not know any underlying problems that will a ect myself/my child’s health whilst taking part in these activities. I understand that if my child is under the age of 18 years, SLS Cheer and Dance or its coaches are not responsible for supervision for children out-with classes attending. All children must be collected from training/classes and MUST NOT be left unattended on the venue premises.
Booked Holiday declaration (competitive teams only)
-I agree to let’s coaches know as soon as holidays are booked which will result in an absence. If this clashes with a competition you will be removed from that team.
-I agree that athletes will be removed if they are not at training for the 2 weeks prior to a comp (red zone).
